The European Academy of Law and Economy (EALE) is a research centre which aims to provide rapid, high-quality information and analysis on the most relevant EU legal and economic issues.
The EALE has its seat at the Catholic University of Brussels in the heart of Europe.
The EALE is open to everybody who shares its aims and operates according to its spirit and ideals.
The primary function of the EALE is to stimulate and co-ordinate research on the European Union, and to foster the dialogue between the EU institutions and the Academic world.
The EALE organizes research seminar series, colloquia and workshops in order to promote discussion and reflection on the most important issues dominating the legal and economic agenda at EU level.
The EALE provides rapid, accurate and easily accessible analysis and reflection through its website
www.eu-academy.org, through reports on EALE events, in-depth Working Papers, Issue Papers and shorter Policy Briefs.
Finally the EALE contributes actively to the provision of postgraduate research training by involving students in international research projects and publications.
